Blending and Serving:

  • Coriander, fresh, finely chopped 20 g
  • Parsley fresh, chopped 20 g
  • Fried onion 200 g
  • Pita chips 20 pc
  1. Besara Preparation:

    • In a roasting pan, drizzle the tomatoes, garlic, onions, and celery with olive oil. Sprinkle with thyme and Knorr Vegetable Stock Powder then roast it in the oven for 10 minutes at 170°C.
  2. Preparing Besara:

    • In a large cooking pot over medium heat, bring the water to a boil add 30g Knorr Vegetable Stock Powder then add the beans.
    • Reduce heat to simmer, keep it simmering for 15 minutes, take off the heat and keep a side.
    • In a sauté pan heat up the corn oil and cook the garlic to golden brown then add the coriander seeds, cumin and black pepper.
  3. Blending and Serving:

    • In a blender puree the coriander and parsley then add the cooked beans and roasted vegetables, blend it well.
    • Plate it in 10 small plates and let it cool before you serve.
    • Serve and garnish with crispy onions and pita breads.
