For the Mash:

  • Fresh milk 3.2 l

For the Brown Sauce:

  • Water 1.2 l
  • Rosemary finely chopped 100 g

For the Mushrooms:

  • Mushrooms, button 1.2 kg
  • Plain flour 200 g
  • Eggs, beaten 10 x
  • Bread crumbs 400 g

For the Beef:

  • Oil 200 ml
  • Salt & white pepper to taste
  • 220 g Sirloin steaks 20 x
  1. For the Mash:

    • Bring the milk to the boil, remove from the heat and whisk in the Knorr Mashed Potato until mixed well, stir in Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise.
  2. For the Brown Sauce:

    • Bring water to the boil, stirring continuously until it becomes thick, add the chopped rosemary to infuse.
  3. For the Mushrooms:

    • Crumb the mushrooms first dipping in flour, then egg and lastly crumbs.
  4. For the Beef:

    • Oil the steaks and season. Cook the steaks on a hot char-grill.
  5. To Finish:

    • Serve steaks with mash and golden fried mushrooms.
