Falafel Preparation:

  • Parsley fresh, chopped 10.0 g
  • Leeks, chopped 50.0 g
  • Onion, finely grated 50.0 g
  • Garlic, roasted (with some of the roasting oil) 25.0 g
  • Coriander, fresh, finely chopped 10.0 g
  • Fava beans, soaked, peeled 700.0 g
  • Black Olives, diced 100.0 g
  • Coriander, seeds 2.0 g
  • White sesame seeds 20.0 g
  1. Falafel Preparation:

    • In a food processor start by pureeing parsley, coriander, leeks, onions & roasted garlic.
    • Then add the beans and puree for 3 minutes, then add the black olives, and blend for 2 more minutes
    • Add the coriander, Knorr Vegetable Stock Powder and Knorr Lime Seasoning, puree for one more minute
    • Using an ice cream scoop make a ball and press it to a patty with your fingers. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds on both sides.
    • Deep fry at 170°C for 3 minutes on both sides.
