Mediterranean Falafel
Our Falafel recipe is a twist on the traditional version but only slightly. The patty is made from Fava beans. For better taste and nutritional value, we added basil & green olives. View full recipe below.

Preparation

Preparation:
- In a food processor start by pureeing parsley, basil, leeks, onions, green olives & garlic then add the beans and puree it for 3 minutes then add the green olives , and pure it for 2 more minutes.
- Add the coriander, and Knorr Vegetable Stock Powder and Knorr Lime Seasoning and puree for one more minute.
- Using an ice cream scoop make a ball and press it to a patty with your fingers and petit with the sesame seeds on both sides.
- Deep fry it in a deep fryer 175°C - 3 minutes on each side.
