• Lamb, minced 600.0 g

For the Sauce:

  • Corn oil 30.0 g
  • Onion, sliced 200.0 g
  • Garlic, crushed 50.0 g
  • Fresh tomato 1.0 kg
  • Water 600.0 ml
  • Tomato, paste 100.0 g
  • Walnuts, lightly toasted 50.0 g
  1. Method:

    • Mix, meat, onion, mint, parsley, Knorr Mix Grill Seasoning and Knorr Beef Bouillon Powder. Knead the meat mix until incorporated, form small 25 gm meat balls.
    • Pass meat balls through flour and remove excess flour, oil the meat balls and place on baking tray.
    • Preheat oven 180°C, and bake the meatballs for 15 mints.
  2. For the Sauce:

    • For the sauce, sauté onion, garlic in corn oil until soft, add Knorr Mix Grill Seasoning, fresh tomato, water and Knorr Beef Bouillon Powder, simmer all ingredients together for only 5 minutes.
    • Pour sauce over the meat ball in the same pan, bake in oven for another 10 minutes or until meat is cooked and sauce is consistent.
    • Sprinkle with pine nuts and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
    • Serve with white rice pilaf.
